The Santa Ana was built at El Ferrol (Spain) in 1784. She was the prototype of a series of 8 ship and carried 112 guns. At the Battle of Trafalger (1805) she fought against the Royal Sovereign. After more than 3 hours of fighting, her rigging destroyed and the loss of 100 lives, she was surrounded by British ships and surrendered. During a heavy storm though, her crew seized the ship and fled to Cadiz. This magnificent model is made from a variety of quality wood and is to the scale 1:84.
